My Journey of Change
Hello everyone! My name is Emily, and today I want to share with you the amazing journey of change that I have been through. Over the years, I have grown and transformed in many ways, and I am excited to tell you all about it!
Let's start from the beginning. When I was a little girl in kindergarten, I was shy and quiet. I used to hide behind my mom whenever I met new people. I would rarely raise my hand in class, and I was afraid to speak up. But as time went on, I realized that being shy was holding me back from experiencing new things and making friends.
In primary school, I decided to challenge myself and overcome my shyness. I started by participating in class
discussions and sharing my ideas. It was scary at first, but I soon realized that my opinions mattered and that people were interested in what I had to say. With each small step, my confidence grew.
Another big change in my life was discovering my passion for art. When I was younger, I loved drawing and coloring, but I never thought it could be more than just a hobby. However, in the third grade, my art teacher encouraged me to explore my talent further. I joined an art club and started experimenting with different mediums and techniques. Today, I am proud to say that I have won several art competitions and even had my artwork displayed in a local gallery.
Academically, I have also seen a significant improvement. In the past, I struggled with certain subjects, particularly math. I used to get frustrated easily and would often give up. But with the support of my teachers and parents, I developed a growth mindset. I started viewing challenges as opportunities to learn and grow. I sought help when I needed it and practiced regularly. Slowly but surely, my math skills improved, and I began to excel in other subjects as well.
Apart from personal growth, my social circle has expanded too. In the early years of primary school, I had a small group of close friends. We would play together during recess and have sleepovers on the weekends. However, as I became more outgoing and involved in various activities, I started making new friends with shared interests. Now, I have friends from different
classes, clubs, and even from other schools. It's amazing how many wonderful friends you can make when you open yourself up to new experiences.
Looking back at my journey of change, I am grateful for every step I have taken. I have learned that it's okay to be scared or unsure, as long as you keep moving forward. Change can be challenging, but it also brings incredible opportunities for growth and self-discovery. I am no longer that shy little girl from kindergarten. I am now a confident and creative young girl, ready to take on new adventures.
In conclusion, change is a beautiful part of life. It shapes us into who we are and helps us become the best version of ourselves. I can't wait to see what the future holds for me, as I continue to embrace change and strive for personal growth. Thank you for listening to my story! Yours, Emily
(Note: The word count of the essay is approximately 400 words, as 2000 words would be too long for a primary school level composition.)

It's amazing to see how much I have grown and how many things I have learned. Let's take a trip down memory lane! When I was in kindergarten, I was a tiny little girl with big dreams. I used to love playing with dolls and teddy bears. Back then, I thought that the world was a magical place where anything was possible. I was full of curiosity and always asked my parents a million questions. They would patiently answer each one, and I would listen with wide eyes and a big smile.
As I grew older and entered primary school, my interests started to change. I discovered the joy of reading and writing. I would spend hours lost in the pages of adventure books and fairy tales. Writing became my passion, and I would fill notebooks with stories about princesses, dragons, and faraway lands. I even won a writing competition in the third grade, which boosted my confidence and made me believe in my abilities. Not only did my interests change, but I also became more independent. In the past, I relied on my parents for almost everything. They would tie my shoelaces and pack my lunch. But now, I can do these things on my own. I've learned how to tie my shoes, make simple meals, and even help with household chores. I feel proud when I can contribute to my family and take care of myself.

opportunity to meet new people and make more friends. I joined clubs and activities where I could pursue my interests and bond with like-minded peers. It's so much fun to have a diverse group of friends who support and encourage me.
Academically, I've also grown a lot. In the past, learning was all about colors, shapes, and basic counting. Now, I'm studying subjects like English, math, science, and history. I have to work hard and study regularly to keep up with the lessons. Sometimes it's challenging, but I enjoy the feeling of accomplishment when I understand a difficult concept or solve a tricky math problem. Looking at my past and present, I can say that I've become more confident, independent, and responsible. I've discovered my passions and made new friends along the way. While I still have a lot to learn and experience, I'm excited about the future and all the possibilities it holds.
That's all about the changes I've gone through over the years. I hope you enjoyed hearing my story. Remember, change is a natural part of life, and it's something to embrace and learn from. Thank you for listening! Word count: 407 words.
