摘要：A positioning device including a glide sheet including handles that are locatedinwardly of glide sheet peripheral edges, whereby patient extremity entanglements withthe handles are avoided and SPH practices are promoted. According to one embodiment
the handles are integrally formed into the bottom side surface of the glide sheet.According to another embodiment, the handles are located between the top side surfaceand the bottom side surface of the glide sheet. Also, a positioning system including sucha positioning device used with one or more removable, elongate handle assemblies,and/or a replaceable, moisture-absorbent pad, with such a pad optionally including firstand second longitudinally extending adhesive strips that are laterally spaced to locationsin proximity to the laterally opposite edges of the pad.
