Good morning! Welcome to our interview! Today let's talk about our favourite hobbies. As we all know, everyone has his own hobby to spend his leisuire time. So what do you enjoy most in your spare time?
Um..In fact, I have a lot of hobbies. Among them, what I enjoy most is playing the violin. I have been playing the violin since I was in primary school.
Sounds cool. I have known that it is quite difficult to learn to playing the violin, is it true? To tell the truth, it is.The left hand should makes the notes on the string while the right hand had to manage the bow, and you should make your left hand and right hand coordinated, and your eyes should keep on the next syllable.
Since you have been playing the violin for a long time, could you please share with us your experience of studying the violin? I mean, the progress you grasped the skills and your feelings every time you play it.
Since I have been playing the violin for almost 10 years, I have different feelings at different stages. When I first contacted violin, all I think was that it's interesting and admirable. However, I soon lost my patience for I have to exercise the same tune again and again. I must play it everyday when my friends were enjoying their game time. When I watched the music score, all I thought was to finish it as soon as possible. The sound from my violin was husky, and I also felt tired for I have to stand from the beginning. But as I grew up, playing the violin has become a method to ease myself. I considered playing it was to make my brain relaxed and escape from the numerous schoolwork. At this time, I began to know the meaning of music, and I used music to make me feel comfortable. Every time I played the violin I would pay attention to use the bow and make beautiful sound. And now, when I am in university, I consider playing the violin as part of my life. It makes me feel full of energy and helps to form a peaceful attitude toward life. It is not only a way to spend my spare time, but also a method to cultivate the mind, Now when I am playing it I am immersed in it and I will try my best to play a song well.
.So you have been keen on playing the violin for many years, it’s marvelous. But have you ever given up playing when you were engaged in your courses, especially when you were preparing for the college entrance examination?
Never had I given it up. Maybe some parents hold the view that splaying instruments is a waste of time compared to school work. But as far as I am able to judge, it trains your brain in a different way and makes you think and respond more rapidly, which will contribute to your study. Yes, I suppose so. Then do you have any other hobbies besides that?
Sure, I also like jogging, watching movies, walking and so on. My college life is full of various kinds of activities.
You do have a colorful life I think. I notice that some of the college students spend most of their spare time in the library. We call these people \"xueba\" because they do nothing except studying. They seem to have no hobbies. How do you feel about it?
Well, I think we all should have a meaningful life, and hobbies are without doubt the important part of our life. It's not a waste of time, instead, it can show everyone's talent and a release of self. Now we are in college, we have youth, we have passion, and the most important, we have time to do what we love. So everyone should keep our hobbies to be an all round person..
