poorer health than job holders. An investigation shows that whenever the unemployment rate increases by 1%, the death rate increases by 2%. All this comes down to one point: work is helpful to health.
Why is work good for health? It is because work keeps people busy away from loneliness. Researches show that people feel unhappy, worried and lonely when they have nothing to do. Instead, the happiest are those who are busy. Many high achievers who love their careers feel that they are happiest when they are working hard. Work serves as a bridge between man and reality. By work people come into with each other. By collective activity they find friendship and warmth. This is helpful to health. The loss of work means the loss of everything. It affects man spiritually and makes him ill.
Besides, work gives one a sense of fulfillment and a sense of achievement. Work makes one feel his value and status in society. When a writer finishes his writing or a doctor successfully operates on a patient or a teacher sees his students grow, they are happy beyond words.
From the above we can come to the conclusion that the more you work the happier and healthier you will be. Let us work hard and study and live a happy and healthy life.

A budget is a spending plan. It can help you spend money wisely. It can do this by cutting out wasteful spending. Of course, preparing a budget takes planning, and following a budget takes willpower(毅力). Your budget should meet your family’s needs and income.

Before you can plan wisely, you need to know how much money you have to spend! Write down all the money you expect to receive (wages, savings, interest, etc.) during the planned budget period.
After you have calculated how much money will be available, it is time to estimate expenses. List all of your family expenses.
If you are not satisfied with what you got for your money, look carefully at your spending. Studying your records will show where overspending has occurred. It will also point out poor buying habits.
It is also a good idea to set aside a small amount of money for emergencies. Every family has small emergencies: a blown tire, a broken device, or the need for minor medical care.

For many people today, reading is no longer relaxation. In 46 a job or advancing in one, the ability to read and comprehend 47 can mean the difference between success and failure. But the unfortunate fact is that most of us are 48 readers. Most of us develop poor reading 49 at an early age, and never get over them. The main deficiency(不足)lies 50 the actual stuff of language itself—words. Taken individually, words have 51 meaning until they are strung together into phrases, sentences and paragraphs. 52 , however, the untrained reader does not read groups of words. He laboriously reads one word at a time, often regressing to 53 words or passages. Regression, the tendency(倾向)to look back over 54 you have just read, is a common bad habit in reading. Another habit which 55 down the speed of reading is vocalization(发声法), sounding each word either orally or mentally as 56 reads.
To overcome these bad habits, some reading clinics use a device called an 57 , which moves a bar (or curtain) down the page at a predetermined speed. The bar is set at a slightly faster rate 58 the reader finds comfortable, in order to “stretch” him. The accelerator for reader to read fast, 59 word-by-word reading, regression and sub-vocalization(默读), practically impossible. At first, 60 is sacrificed for speed. But when you learn to read ideas and concepts, you will not only read faster, 61 your comprehension will improve. Many people have found their reading skill drastically improved 62 some training. 63 Charlie Au, a business manager, for instance, his reading rate was 172 words a minute the training, which was reasonably good, and now, analyzing, it is 1,378 words a minute. He is delighted that now he can get 65 a lot more reading material in a short period of time.
